Default is this a hardware problem or battery problem, any suggestions?

Hello guys
i got a little problem here
since a few days ago, my phone is always reboot on its own
at first i thought its a ROM problem, so i reinstall it yesterday
but it still happening, even right now.

just a few minutes ago i realized whats wrong. sometimes i like to "drop" my phone, not like from 1 meter height, its just when i want to put it on the table, i dropped it maybe from 2-3 cm height. just did this a few minutes ago and my phone reboot on its own.
i tried it a few times and sometimes the phone isnt rebooting, it went off, and i need to turn it on again.
i pick up my phone and i hit the back of it with little power, and yes it restarted again.

my question is, is this a hardware problem, or just a battery problem?
i dont have any spare battery, but if anyone suggesting it i will buy a new one.
i know xperia arc is an old phone but i hope it wont come to a hardware problem

any suggestion/replies will be very appreciated
thanks guys

Your phone's battery may be loose.

Yeah, it's possible because you keep saying that the phone turns off when you drop it, indicating that the battery may have came loose and caused the phone to turn off. You can solve it by stuffing some paper under the battery so it is much closer to the contacts.
