[Q] Ad Hoc connection in Android 4.4.2?
I have a lighting fixture for my aquarium that has built in wifi connectivity via an Ad Hoc connection and an Android app. I can see the SSID on my Galaxy S3 (Cm 10.2) but it won't connect. I cannot even see the SSID on my Nexus 7 (2012 - stock Android 4.4.2). Both devices are rooted. I understand Google removed support for Ad Hoc connections, but with a rooted device it's supposed to be easy to enable? Haha, easy!
The frustrating thing is I borrowed a friends iPad and it connects without issue!
So how do I get my Nexus 7 to see and connect to the Ad Hoc device???
