I've heard that the 2012 Nexus 7 with Bricked kernel was able to use a microUSB to ethernet cable and therefore give you access to a wired connection. My question is whether there is a kernel that supports this same feature for the Nexus 7 2013? I know this is a pretty obscure feature but since I'm a student at a college that doesn't allow personal devices (only issued items) to connect to the wifi, I would like to use my tablet for something besides reading and offline gaming. Thanks for any help!
