So, I tried to flash teamcanjica's CM 11 in my Ace 2 yesterday.... Without factory reset and wiping dalvik cache. While still so excited with the prospect of using KitKat, the process stopped saying something about failed sideload package zip. Then I remember that I should've wipe my device first. So I reboot it from the recovery mode... And it stuck in a bootloop. The galaxy ace 2 logo flashed twice, then it came back to recovery mode, with the green android lying on its back with a red triangle on top of it. What I'm about to ask is, will installing a new ROM (in this case, the original gingerbread) with odin in download mode will make it back to normal? Thanks.

Congrats, your OS is borked... but don't worry just reflash stock and all will be hunky dory!

Try this: http://android.sc/update-galaxy-ace-...bean-firmware/

just make sure you have the same device i.e. Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 GT-I8160

Also I would advise not using the firmware from that site... try looking it up on www.sammobile.com/firmwares/‎ for your region. Be careful.
