Default Is It safe to disable thermal throttling?

Okay so I am aware that it is a method to get rid of lag, but it is also a safety feature to prevent the phone from overheating. Does anybody have experience with disabling it?

First try to find out what is PVS binning of your G2. I have 3 and when I tried to disable thermal throttling my G2 couldn't boot, rebooted before sim pin input and stuck in bootloop. I could only enable throttling back when freezed thing in freeger. So, YMMV of course, just be warned

Mine is Bin 4.. No issues at all disabling thermal throttling.. Supposedly Thu higher your bin number is, the better your chip is..

Yes since it needs less voltage to achieve same clock speed as opposed to lower bins.
