First of all, sory for my english!
i am facing a problem with my galaxy advance proximity sensor, it does not work while in a call it does not shut my screen off. In the *#0*# menu at sensor tab at proximity it says : PROXIMITY : 1 when nothing is in the sensors way, and not turn the scrren green how it should do. Anyone have a clue about this ?
I find that note3 and S4 have this problem, and can recalibrate with ADB ussing this command:

# echo 0 > /sys/devices/virtual/sensors/proximity_sensor/prox_cal
# echo 1 > /sys/devices/virtual/sensors/proximity_sensor/prox_cal

But in our phone, Prox_cal dont exist! I use italy 4.1.2 official firmware... Any idea?

I do not know the answer, but that command for Note3 and S4 is probably for those phones, maybe we do not have that files in those folders, maybe it is by different name.
