about the cutout - I checked the site again. I think they made a revision to the case, because when I bought mine the site picture was with one cutout.from my experience they do incremental design updates from time to time (the small slit beneath the power and volume button for example).

I've had multiple failed customer service experiences with UAG. But I did purchase the Scout a while back, and customer service has been excellent regarding that purchase because after I received the Scout, I never had to contact UAG again about the order or item
Cygnett and Speck have excellent customer regarding handling defects, inquiries, etc.
Now that you mention it, I think I remember seeing a picture with one cutout, compared to the 2 cutouts I have seen recently. This was an inquiry I had a couple of weeks ago which I submitted to UAG, along with a couple of other questions
They responded to my initial email telling me that they think I have a counterfeit case and where did I purchase the case, and they can proceed from there.
I emailed back that I purchased the Maverick from the UAG Website
Never heard back from, in my experience, UAG's poor customer service
I'vd had other failed cs experiences which has helped to formulate my opinion of their cs.
