Hello, fairly new to android, however loving every minute of it.

Read through most of Oma's posts on the Chuwi V88 for soft bricked due to upgrading to a new rom.

I need some help, as I jumped the gun on installing the upgrade.

My Model is CW0838
My Serial number is V88 16G2131100155

I couldn't find my serial number in the stock firmware section after I had done the deed.

I used the RKAndroid tool followed the instruction to the letter. I let the operation complete. The Chuwi never rebooted just stayed black with back lit screen. So I then unplugged the usb and put in the SDcard with the Nand flash file but nothing. So am I soft bricked or is it not recognizing my screen?

If I plug the usb back in, the computer recognizes the Chuwi as "Found RKAndroid Mass Storage Usb" on the RKAndroidTool v1.37 program.

Any help, or direction to a post that can help me, would be much appreciated.
Hopefully I haven't destroyed my Chuwi.

Thanks from your fellow XDA'er Rory G.

Talking Re-read some of Oma's posts.
Weeeeee!!!! Did some re-reading of Oma's posts, and figured out where I screwed up in the process. My Chuwi V88 is up and running again.
Missed replacing the kernal #351 in the installation. Now I know, will not happen again.

Love my new androids, and always will.
