try this (on PAC rom):

go to Settings, Hybrid Properties, then Interface.

Select the status bar color option, and type in 00000000 in the Actual value field (that's 8 zeros). After you type it in, hit the color box under 'New color'

Hit apply.

Do the same steps for the navigation bar color.

A reboot may be required.

Don't think that's possible. Only 4.4 KitKat is able to do that (SDK Level 19 if I'm not wrong)

Smack that Thanks button if I helped!
XDAing from a N7105 powered by Illusion ROM.
Sent from a small country called Singapore.
P.S. Time for school, not much time for XDA
N7105 rocking AOSB with AGNi kernel
Click "Thanks" if I was of any help!

It's a bit of a cheat, but the "tinted status bar" xposed module will approximate the effect you're looking for: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2457265
