I'm trying to get some of the excellent templates I've found here at XDA on my phone and can't get them too look right. I've set up phone as the authors have said but generally they end up far too small.
I'm using nova launcher on stock ROM. Zooper widget pro.
The example I'll use is this one.
Set as described using a 10x10 grid and correctly sized widgets.

On the main widget edit screen (the one you see after taping on a widget to edit it), check the Scaling option an see that it is set to 100%. If that doesn't suffice try to increase the scaling option until the widget seems right.

Thinks I've sussed it out
Its more a case of playing with sizes of widgets and scaling to get it right for my screen.
