Default Factory reset

So the other day Im out walking my dogs by the lake by my house and I found a TL. It is password protected. I have had it on for a week and no one has called it. I have tried button combo after button combo to get it in to recovery to reset it so that my wife can use it. I have never used a sony how do you boot in to recovery, or do a reset with out getting in to the phone?

download xperia tl ftf

1. go into settings - backup & reset

2. download update service

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/

3 Quick Flashtool guide

- Download flash tool : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2162907
- Extract Flash tool
- Put downloaded .ftf in flashtool/firmware
- Open Flashtool
- Click on the black lighting bolt
- Pick the firmware and tick no final verification
- Wait till flashtool tells you to connect the phone in flash mode
- Wait and reboot the phone when you are done
