Default [Q] Best Task Killer for HTC One?

I have come to realize that the HTC One's "swipe up" of screen just removes them from recent and doesn't actually kill the tasks. Whats the best way to kill tasks ?

If you are willing to pay a few bucks for a app that also provides a almost unlimited amount of root and other tools, you should take a look into Android Tuner.

Edit:
I did not mention that it is not recommanded to kill background processes uncontrolled! This will only cause instability. Just kill/crystallize the processes you really don't want to run in the background.
Feel free to hit the thanks button if I helped
