Not really.

I can't get any numbers to input as dev codes through the keypad on 4.3. It always says no network.

Thats why the unlock code in the tutorials oly works on 4.1.1

Well Ive rooted it and put on CWM and all is fine, but

It won't install the 4.1.1 , says its not correct

Yet its from Samsung

http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1...e=EVR#firmware

There's no way this is maybe a Odin file or through Keis only ?

Thumbs up
OK. Odin worked

SIM unlock *# code worked

Phone now working, but on 4.1.1

I rooted it to save my EFS folder. I know it would re root as soon as I put the 4.1.1 on.

Plan now is to update to whatever Kies gives me. Then re root and use Titanium to remove all the Samsung rubbish.

Thanks.
