Hello,
I love GEL, but on my nexus 7, it deletes the lower right app icon on restart of the launcher, so it happens every reboot, every time the launcher stops responding, changing launchers, etc. Its really annoying and I seem to be the only one with the problem as I've googled this multiple times.

Device: Nexus 7 (flo)
Google Search version: 3.1.24.941712.arm
Google Experience Launcher version: 0.10.1.920880

Any help is appreciated!

Hi, ThePanduuh...

You might have better luck getting an answer, if you were to post on the correct forum, somewhere here...

http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-7-2013

...as this is the 'first gen' Nexus 7 (2012) forum.

----------------------------

It should, however, be kept in mind, that the GEL launcher (which is actually just a 'stub' for Google Search) is currently not intended or optimized (or indeed, officially available) for devices other than the Nexus 5... so probably it will behave in unexpected ways if run on other devices.

I've run it on my own N7 (first gen) for a short time, and never had any problems... other than the slightly critical opinion of... "Can't see what all the fuss is about!"... It was nice to get back to Nova launcher again, and it's configurability.

Good luck anyway.

Rgrds,
Ged.
