On the results screen after benchmarking my Verizon LG G2, the spec screen reads saying my phone has 480 ppi. This can't be correct as it's supposed to be 423 ppi. Is this reading incorrect or is the Verizon version shipped with a higher density screen we weren't told about?

dpi and ppi are two different things. dpi is dots per inch, ppi is pixels per inch. http://developer.android.com/guide/practices/screens_support.html might explain why dpi is relevant (mainly for developers). ppi can't be modified, it's built into the actual display, dpi on the other hand can be edited through "build.prop" which would allow you to make the operating system within the display look smaller or larger (kind of like changing the resolution on your computer).
