I' ve updated to kitkat for about 10 days ago, with ota, placed in "Droid Maxx 4.4 OTA zip download". I know, that people started to receive official OTA few days ago? So that's the question:
1. Is there a new dialer?
2. Is there a full 4.4 firmware to flash though RSDLITE?

Google's dialer with built-in search is exclusive to nexus devices, if that's what dialer you are referring to.

found another way. If you install it directly or put it in the system/app folder, it doesn't appear in the drawer. BUT, if you use something Like nova, and go thru activities, you can find it. Doesn't seem to have ALL of the options it should, but it's functional. But for a more stable and updating version, use the KK Dialer
