Has anyone figured out to set the date & time correctly? It gets confusing trying to figure out which backup to restore without renaming them.

A little more info. All of my backups show 1970. Even with the new year. So there's no change in year from 2013 to 2014. No 1970 to 1971, etc. I've tried the settings in TWRP for time zones and no change.
I guess its time to start looking through the code. Pun intended.

It seems to be a bug in TWRP for a couple of different phones, also. I'll try to pore over some code tomorrow and see what I can find.

I've seen that. I don't know if it will work for recovery. I think its for devices with bad time controls on startup.
