No reason to regret it. If you don't like it, it's easy enough to go back to stock.
Every device in my signature (with one exception) has had a custom ROM on it. No regrets here.
HTC Device History: One (M8) DE [current] | One (M7) DE [current] | One (M7) 32GB | Ace 9192 | Rhodium 300 | Kaiser 130 | Wizard 100
Samsung Device History: Note 10.1 SM-P600 [current] | Note 10.1 GT-N8013 [current] | Tab 10.1 GT-P7510
Asus Device History: Nexus 7 Flo 32GB [current] | Nexus 7 Grouper 32GB

Any big advantage when I use a custom Rom with sense 5.5?

Is the battery bug fixed on custom Roms?

If you're talking about the battery drain some users are experiencing on 4.4 Sense ROMs, it's still around. From what I've read, it's part of the HTC base that devs are using, so it won't be fixed until HTC releases a new WWE base, which should be soon.

...as for advantages of custom ROMs, check out ViperOne in the One Android Development forum if you haven't already.

I never regretted the new software! Even if I would, I still could get back to stock. So there is no problem. And until now I also had no warranty problems. They repaired it for free eventhough it was rooted. This would be the only thing I regretted... the big problems with repair centers.
Feel free to hit the thanks button if I helped
