Abysmal Standby Battery Life

Ever since switching from an iPad to a Nexus 7, I've noticed some terrible standby battery life. Like losing more than a % an hour. Currently have WiFi off when screen is off and all location services are off...is there something else I might be missing?

Is it rooted? You could try the greenify app if you want, now with the new update it works with non rooted devices but has some restrictions.

Look after your active backgrounds processes.I rarely lose battery when screen is off.

make sure tablet is actually in 'deep sleep' use cpu spy plus or betterybatterystats to check wakelocks

u should be over 95% deep sleep if your not doing anything after 30mins off/on standby

in 8 hrs off, u should only lose like 2-3% max , and deep sleep = 95-97% or higher
