[Q] BadBoyz rom Vs cleanROM SPR 2.5
I hate to ask but im coming to the understanding that SPRINT CleanROM SPR 2.5. was dropped.
So i was trying to find the new rom Benny3 was working with.
The OMJ's Sprint ONE ROM | 1.31.651.2 is the new one he is working with right?
Is it drastically better than SPRINT CleanROM SPR 2.5?" I know it is i just mean, what drastic changes are different from the SPR 2.5 because i grew acustomed to using SPR 2.5 and i really do not wish to aggressively be running diagnostics to reflash the rom to my device after straight wiping it if its gonna be a major hassle, and by major hassle i mean up to 1-3days of continually running tests and trying to break the rom to confirm what i can, and cannot do (and if it would cripple from my daily habits with the device)
Hope this isn't asking to much, as this question thread is specifically ment to help me determine if i will be migrating to BadBoyz Rom.. if it is the better one then ill be using with alot less hassle, then ill most likely be using TitaniumBackup to restore all missing user applications i had on my CleanROM SPR 2.5 flash, and performing a entire wipe after backing everything up. Worst case scenario for me is to run the RUU to reset my device, unbrick it in the worst possible situation, and restore my backup flash copy.
I am aware CleanROM SPR 2.5 has been discontinued --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2309274
, and im pretty sure benny3 has moved onto working with OMJ on Bad Boyz --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2470693
More so hoping to get feed back on people whom have reflashed their devices with sprint and if it was a major gui overhaul making it hard to migrate, or any noticeable key changes beyond what is listed in the forums and shown on the Bad Boyz forum post --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2470693
. I seen their was a custom kernel but last time i checked messing with the kernel made the sprint HTC One camera cease to function/work and resulted in numerous crashes when any camera app was run.
