Yes, I tried this first. It just gives me a failed error. I heard that '/usb-otg' is something to do with TWRP and not my phone however. I've also tried a ADB sideload which halted at 40% on clockwork, it doesn't even work on TWRP though. It's $40 to even get a quote on repairs simply because I don't have the RUU available.

Reflashed clockwork and gave sideload another go.
40% 'it's about to fail'
60% 'it's going to fail any second'
80% 'it's actually going to make it? never mind, it'll fail when it reaches 100%'
100%

Into the aroma installer and booted up fine.
Is there a charity you'd like me to donate $10 towards? It was $40 for a quote alone

I could hit the thanks button. But really, I think the donation is well deserved. It's my first time using andriod, I only wanted root acces, I've learnt so much and next on the hitlist is to get S-Off so next time I eat the dirt with my phone I'll be able to use the RUU executables as a last resort. Using a RUU would have saved me so many hours.
