It's over a year since I updated my phone so I've decided it's time to do it again.

Current configuration:

Paranoid Android: 2.52
CynogenMod: 10.0.0-RC0-p500
Kernel: 2.6.35.10-perf+CM10 bytecode@Pavilion-dv6 #1 31 Oct 2012
Build number: pa_p500-userdebug 4.1.2 JZO54K eng.bytecode.2012.10.31.132552 test-keys
Recovery: TWRP 2.3.3.0
Baseband: LGP500DAT-00-V20g-OPEN-COM-JUN-14-2011

What I want to know:
  1. Do I need to flash a new recovery?
  2. What ROM would be best for my needs? I want it to be stable optimized with everything working, not necessary the newest android version.
  3. What kernel is the best right now?
  4. Recomended performance/optimization scripts.

Everything depends of your ROM ?!? Try with your present and change if it's need.

How mush you buy ?
The last Jenkins release work fine. The last options make any complications but not always. And the original softwares work fine.

I didn't find stable android 4.3 for p500. I think that it's android 4.2.2 (Kernel 3.0.8-perf+chocolate for mine)

Clockwork 5.0 seems fine to flash anything but cm11, I never used TWRP, but if you flashed a cm10 so I think it's no problem flashing new cm from that.

About ROMs
JellyBean

Jenkins build cm10.1.5 4.2.2 (with HALO)
JEnkins build c.10.1.6 4.2.2 (without HALO)

I don't know more, except a PAC-ROM reuploaded yesterday or CM11 released.

Hope this helps you
