Question [Q] Question on formatting

Hello I want to format my phone (too many apps) but everytime I go to format (from settings) the phone reboots and start twrp to comfirm the factory reset. If I do this
  1. Will this delete the ROM?
  2. Do I have to flash gapps again?
  3. Will this remove 3rd party kernel?
Samsung Galaxy SIII - Liquid Smooth 3.1
Samsung Galaxy Captivate - CM 9
HTC Nexus One - CM 7
HTC Legend - CM 9 Screen does not work

It really depends on what you format in recovery. If you want to get rid of the apps you installed, you can do a factory reset from the OS. Gapps, apps flashed via recovery, and the kernel will remain.
