unfortunately i'm experiencing sound crackling using my sony xba3 and ue 600vi (12/13 Ω @1 kHz) on higher volumes. they work normally on other devices. using my philips SHE9553 (16 Ω) or big-can Denon AHD 1100 (32 Ω) i don't experience any crackling or distortion.

my razr currently runs under CM11 but the problem already existed under CM10.2 and stock. especially bass-heavy music isn't enjoyable because of permanent crackling (e. g. NIN - Hesitations Marks). it seems to me that it is the same problem described here for the galaxy s4: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2258831. samsung apparently fixed it by firmware update so i'm asking the following two questions:

1. do you experience that crackling as well (low-impedance headphones, higher volumes)
2. can it be fixed by firmware/kernel changes (CM-kernel)
