ATT Customers are not just receiving early upgrades for no reason. According to Engadget and that press release, this is just ATT Next. You have to agree to Next, you get an upgrade. Which is terrible. Next is a pretty big rip off.

Since ATT started to cut off $15 monthly if you don't subsidize phone (ATT Next, BYOP, off contract) this can be benefit for most people. But I'd wait until MWC nonetheless.

I agree. I'm interested in the Padfone X, but I'd suggest anyone interested wait until MWC also.
