How to modify gp2a light sensor values or update driver?
I have the t989 s2 with the Sharp Gp2a light sensor. It's largely innacurate, slow and seems to be mostly because of the driver. The datasheet shows that it should perform much better. Yet, the auto brightness is horrible. Going to the app: lux, I see that the lowest value the sensor sees is 10. And that's in low light daylight all the way to complete darkness. It just stays at 10!
So is there an updated or tweaked driver for this sensor? A way to configure the sensors resolution? Or any type of fix to make it perform to spec?
I have no idea how this works, just hoping someone here has an answer!
