Default [Q] Samsung Galaxy S4 battery issues

Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4, I didn't root it or anything at all.
During the last week my device suddenly shows me that I have 0% battery and keeps restarting itself like crazy, the only way I fix it is to just charge it again, sometimes this happens from 20% battery and sometimes from 70% even.

Does anyone know what the issue is?

Do I need to format my device totally? If yes then how do I do that?

Thanks a lot for any help.
Niv

You can try wipe cache and dalvik from the stock recovery.. If it's a software problem this could solve it.

Before of doing that check if your battery pack is made in china cause maybe it's one of the bad battery and๒ Samsung will change it for free..
Sorry for my bad english :P

To enter recovery, power off your device and start it again pressing Vol.Up+Home+Power ... When Sammy logo appears release power. When blue line appears on top, release the other buttons. Navigate with vol up/down ... select with home.

Replace battery: buy a new one.

Cheers.
