Currenty I have NO data not sure why but I can't update profile/prl as I have a big fat O with a diagonal line through it, the ever so infamous "NO" symbol. I have no problems with wifi but alas NO data.

Any clues if there is a way to restore say "efs" or something to that effect to give me data back?
What Rom and modem combination are you running? Have you ran the activation reset now that you're up and running? (##72786#), without the parentheses of course .

I literally took the phone apart, got to the motherboard, removed the middle part of the power switch (where the button is), using tweezers and it has no power button on the board, however if you hold down Vol Down + Home while plugging it in... you'll get the option to go into download mode, OR press vol down to restart and VOILA you're using a phone without any power button failure issues, however just don't let it die OR you'll have to power it up via the above method.

Have an amazing day
