Question [Q] what could the reason for my app to take much more memory on kikat?

Strange thing...my app takes about 5MB but on Kit-Kat it takes about 28MB (ram)...
It doesn't work with graphics or pictures. The only picture that I have in the icon of the program, that I use as icon for the program and it also exits in notification(foreground service).

What could be the reason for that?

I'm guessing it's just the cached activity. Try destroying the activity if you want, although there's really no need for that (when memory is needed, it'll be done automatically.)

already tried it and it didn't solve the memory problem
In general I think that kit kat has a lot of new features and different approach than all the other versions
