what is the difference between cid: htc__001 and cid: BS_US001 ?

Cool what is the difference between cid: htc__001 and cid: BS_US001 ?

hi

i am want ask if i install rom cid: htc__001 on this device cid: BS_US001 will be work or she is don't compatible ?
PHONE: HTC ONE 801n (M7_UL)
STATUS: Rooted, S-ON
ROM: stock rom
ANDROID VER: 4.4
RADIO: 4A.17
HBOOT: 1.54 (UNLOCKED)
RECOVERY: CWM

Fist of all, no need to start another thread for this, you should have posted this HERE

And the answer is NO. If you want to flash a HTC__001/PN0710000 rom you need the same CID and MID of the rom
CID mean Carrier ID and sometime called Cell ID or Country ID, its basically a kind of carrier lock / region lock.

so your phone have BS_US001 CID and PN0712000 MID, that mean it software (.1540 base) is intended for US market (brightstar us developer edition) and compatible for Model PN0712000

HTC__001 is for EMEA region (EUROPE, MIDLE EAST and AFRICA) and its sw base is .401 and compatible with model PN0710000

The only way to install a rom with different CID/MID is the achieve S-OFF and then modify your CID and MID.
