OMNIROM

I've been working on Omnirom for a while now but this is the first version which boots.

Screenshots:

What's Working:
  • Wifi
  • Recent Apps
  • Screenshots
  • Bluetooth
  • Vibration
  • Video Playback
  • Location Services
  • Mobile Data

Bugs:
Camera broken (Probably due to me deleting some lines in config.xml to get it to build)
There is no superuser app installed. (Use SuperSu for now and I'll integrate it soon
Audio is broken. (probably due to wrong audio-caf files)
Quick setting tiles take 2-3 taps to respond.
At first, I noticed that apps from Google Play couldn't download but a few reboots fixed that.
LED for notifications is broken.
Flash is broken.
It seems that video playback in the default apps are broken but with MX Player it works fine.

To-Do:
1. Integrate a superuser and a file manager into rom.
2. Fix camera
3. Fix audio
4. Fix LED
You tell me...

Installation:

1. Full wipe (factory reset and dalvik wipe)
2. Install ROM
3. Install Gapps
4. Reboot
Note: There is no CAMERA installed at first.

Bits of code should be different but I haven't checked. No major difference, just my go at a port.

I don't see sense. Two identical subjects here. Unite better and do one product, than to rivet everything that got.

Why don't you unite with your brain and stop giving such smart suggestion?

When you cook something than you can make smart posts like this one.

Lol, i didn't know someone else was working at this and compiled my own build in ~5 hours with almost the same bugs.
A little competition is not bad, and it's not a big deal we have 2 variations now. It helps to look how he compiled it so i can help him and eventually fix my own bugs.
