Best location settings???

I am trying to figure out the best location settings to run on the N3 for a daily driver. I don't even use gps but I have the beautiful weather widget where the weather updates every hour. Just wanted to see if there was a setup that was most common.

I'm kinda similar with not using GPS or Google Maps daily but I do like the weather to update. What I do is leave all location services off for battery saving and set a static location within the weather app rather than geolocation. I use Eye in the Sky weather with zip code as my location.
