Default [Q] No OS and internal storage wipe

Hey guys,

I recently tried to install another ROM ( Android Rev 4.10 ) on my HTC One. After installing it I wiped all the internal storage the phone had ( including the rom .zip ). I tried to reboot into system but no matter how much I tried it always reboots into recovery, not system ( although I tap - reboot to system - ).

I think the problem is that I used an old TWRP recovery ( 2.6.0.1 ) for flashing the room ( it is advised that I should have used TWRP 2.6.3.3. for flashing that ROM ) so the OS is now broken and it wont boot into it.

The phone isn't recognized by my PC while in recovery ( and I cant boot into system ) and I cant find it in device manager so I can install the drivers. Curenttly I have acces to the custom recovery ( TWRP 2.6.0.1 ) and the bootloader.

So :
-Can't boot into system ( OS broken )
-No files on internal storage
-No drivers and I cant install them as the phone doesnt show up in device manager
-The phone always boots in recovery mode

Is there anything I can do ?

Bootloader :

*** Tampered ***
*** Unlocked ***
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT - 1.54.0000
Radio-4A.17.3250.14
OpenDSP-v31.120.274.0617
OS-2.24.401.1
eMMC - boot 2048MB

FASTBOOT
RECOVERY
FACTORY RESET
SIMLOCK
IMAGE CRC
SHOW BARCODE

Much apreciated guys.

So why did you not flashed TWRP 2.6.6.3 before? It takes like 30 sec to do.

Rules #1: Always make sure your device drivers are properly set BEFORE flashing stuff and also that fastboot/adb are working properly!

Did you tried another usb port? Are you using the official htc usb cable? Maybe you are using a ''power only'' usb cable (without data pins)? Is your phone detected in fastboot usb?

First thing to do is to make your phone detected by your pc and make sure fastboot/adb are working correctly. After download and flash latest TWRP recovery:

Code:
fastboot flash recovery name_of_recovery.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
then push to rom to your phone storage:

go in twrp recovery
Code:
adb push name_of_rom.zip /sdcard/
and flash the rom via twrp.

If you are still unable to connect the phone to pc, use a usb otg cable, copy the rom.zip to a usb stick and connect to phone with usb otg cable. then in twrp mount you usb stick and flash the rom.
If I helped you, please hit the ''tanks'' button
