Default 4.4 Upgrade Question

hello... new member here.
I want to upgrade from the stock rom of my asus tf300t
to a simple (not fully-accessorized, dark themed etc) 4.4 rom. So my best candidates are
the Omnirom (almos-pure AOSP, I like it very much) which i also have installed on my smartphone,
and the Cyanogenmod. I need minimal Gapps, good battery and good stability.
do you have any advice??

I would suggest CyanogenMod or DirtyUnicorns, which both seem close to AOSP. The dark themed ROM is actually better than you think.

thanks to all... I think you all referred to the ''look'' side of my question and maybe to the stability also... so cm 11 is stable and simple, and what
about the battery life?? and another important aspect for me, what about docking station compatibility??

I can assure you that CM is fully dock compatible. Standby time is pretty good, but since I use the overclock kernel, it drains rather fast when the screen is on.
