Hi Everyone,

I've got a question: Is it possible to turn the sd card reader in an android device from SDIO to SPI?

It would be great because it would be possible to read sd card whose SDIO interface is broken when the SPI Interface is still intact. It would be slow but you can get your Data back when the SPI interface is still working.

There are two ways to "talk" with a SD card the normal protocol is SDIO the second one is SPI. Often when a SD card seems to be broken maybe only the SDIO interface is broken but you can still use the SPI interface.

Here is a link to hackaday maybe it explains it better to you what i mean.
