Default Has ANYBODY rooted XT1028? (Verizon Moto G)

Everything I've tried has failed, and it would be nice to root my phone. I got used to all the things that root let's you do on my old phone and on my tablet.

Is there a way to hack the boot loader or something?

I said that before the other mod moved it. This thread was originally in the development section.
