Default 2 identical T989 motherboards

I have 2 identical samsung galaxy S2's both with t-mobile, serial numbers are about 50 apart. I replaced the lcd/digitizer on one of em and switched motherboards a couple times (to update and try rooting/rom-ing em) and both boards have worked fine for weeks, now all of a sudden one of em act's like it did before replacing the screen. It powers on and functions but screen is black, if I switch boards, the screen works fine, switch em back then black screen. What's goin on? Any thoughts or suggestions? Or questions for more info, if needed.

Oh belive me, I've double checked every connection. I know the lcd/digitizer is fine cause it works great with one of the boards, but the other board is like as if the lcd is broken but digitizer still working. They've both worked before.
