Today at work my phone randomly died at first I thought it was the battery. Got home charged it 100%. Every time I try to turn it on it shows Samsung logo and shuts off. I tried the power+home plus volume got me to the Android system recover and I get a bunch of errors saying failed to mount /system (invalid argument cant mount system and other errors along with the image of a dead android with a red triangle and says on top failed to mount /efs. any suggestions or help? I'm not that tech savvy with smartphones.

Give this a try:

Edit: this is assuming you have (or did have) a custom recovery. Otherwise, the post below is correct. Go through warranty if you haven't tripped Knox.

Have you installed custom recovery/ROM or otherwise flipped your Knox flag to 0x1? If not, I'd go through T-mobile or Samsung to get it fixed/replaced. If you haven't already flipped the Knox flag, trying to fix it using a custom recovery could void your warranty and leave you with no good options for repair.
