I recently updated my Sprint Galaxy Note 2 to android 4.3. Everything went slow, and so it was suggested to hard reset my device. I though I had everything backed up but i didn't. I am trying to recover deleted files. I used the guide I found on this forum here.

My problem is the under /dev/block all the mmcblk files are 0 bytes. Every time I extract I get 0 bytes as well. What should I do differently? Is there a different location I should be looking at?

Thanks

Does anyone know the answer? Normally I wouldn't bump this, however, I am in a bad bind. I'm trying not to use my phone (very hard) until I figure this out, so I don't overwrite the files I am trying to recover. I hope I haven't already written over it.

Thanks

Darn. I was hoping to get an answer by now, but maybe it's too hard to figure out. I guess I'm out of luck. Even though the dev/block folder is 0.0 bytes, the actual block of memory has to be somewhere or my phone wouldn't run. I just wish I knew where.
