I was visiting the section of this forum dedicated to Motorola Moto G that comes without micro sd card slot and I read about this Mini MicroSD Card Reader (OTG) for Android made by Meenova.

Any of you have tried it and can tell me if it works on a 1st generation rooted kindle fire?

thanks!

Chances are it does because the drivers are ment for android not any other platform. Just make sure that the rooted Kindle has support for the drivers(by support I mean version Example: 4.3 or requires 2.2) But it should work. Looking at the meenova site , it doesnt seem to be made for just moto G so go for it. And $12 isnt a big loss, much easier then going inside the kindle and soldering readers to the actual device.
