So while I wait for my trial period to expire before I brick another phone I've been wondering....would it be possible to root with kingo keeping Knox 0x0 then use mobile Odin to flash roms with online nandroid as backup all while keeping Knox 0x0? I don't care about Knox personally but just curious if this would work. Thanks in advance for any input.

Well I found my own answer. This would work as long as you don't install a custom kernel. Here's a how to from chainfire. I take no credit for anything posted here.
