Default [Q] Converting to dev edition

I'm sure it's possible but not sure if it avalible but I'm thinking about swapping out the logic board out on my Note 3 to the dev edition. Do you guys thing I would run into any problems other than finding the board. I wouldn't think there would be and hardware incompatibilities but then again I'm not a phone engineer. What do you guys think. I know i could sell mine and buy a dev phone but I figured it would be cheaper to buy just the board and I could sell my board and recoup most of the money.

This should be in q&a. The board should be the exact same, dev specs aren't any different. Good luck finding a dev board though.
