Default Do you think the new change of ownership of Motorola will affect the speed of an upda

I don't even think this device will see kitkat officially now thanks to lenovo taking over.. am I wrong?

Unless a Motorola insider will speak up here, which is very unlikely, this thread is bound to be filled by pure speculations.
Let's wait a few months, then we'll know...
(Btw., in regard to CM and CM derived ROMs, we don't necessarily need the official kitkat for Q, a Razr HD kitkat release could be enough for us, depending on the modem/ril compatibility of that speculative release.)
