I did do a bit of a search regarding the malware here, and it was being reported as early as last june it seems.

Try using tapatalk for xda works a treat with no malware! Check what's running in the background. Might be something of note running that is draining you battery post a screen of that and cached processes. I'll see if I can help ttorrent kills off my tablet but can go for days on my moto g which is very odd to me.
