Default Z Ultra GPE SD card issues

Ok I have had this phone for a while and have had and issue writing to the SD card since I got it its a 64gb Sony class 10 card. When I try to push any file to it or do anything besides reading from it I get a access denied like the card is write protected has anyone else run into this problem. Please help

It's a KitKat protection feature. There's a fix in the general section.

It seems its for rooted users is a fix for non rooted users

Nope.

Maybe root, tweak things, then unroot if you want. I'm considering this fix and a DPI tweak, otherwise I don't want to root this one as that was the point of buying a GPe in the first place.
