[Q] Rooting advice

Hi, i have a ssamsung galaxy s4 registered to the U.K network vodafone. I need advice on if its possible to root my phone? im looking to recover some lost texts and pictures i deleted a while back by mistake which i need. Can anyone help or offer any advice on how i could solve this? Thanks everyone.

Rooting won't help with recovering lost pictures or texts.
Google search for help on rooting, plenty of places out there.
CF-Auto root is my preferred rooting method.

Hi, thanks ill try Cf-Auto root. I read that after rooting i could use a recovery program such as Tenorshare to recover my texts etc?
