Default How do I do ota update from 4.2.2?

Hi

I am currently running stock android 4.2.2, unlocked and rooted. And I have TWRP recovery installed as well.

Everytime there's an ota update notification, I chose install.

Then after reboot I was sent to TWRP and there's nothing happening there. So I reboot again from twrp and my nexus 10 is not updated.

This has happened 3 or 4 times.

Can someone tell me how do I do ota update to the latest kitkat in my situation?

Same issue here with 4.4 to 4.4.2. Anyone know the procedure to install ota update? I hope it's not to uproot & relock.

DONATE TO ME
Hi,

When I installed the update on mine I installed the Stock ROM again because I wanted to format it before. However, I believe you can simply reinstall stock recovery and done .

Good luck,

It looks like you want the latest stock but stay rooted correct? Best option, in my opinion, Google search
android factory images
First link should have all info
Now download the correct version (mantaray for nexus 10 KOT49H)
Extract all contents
Then use fastboot to flash
fastboot erase system -w
fastboot erase boot
fastboot flash bootloader nameofbootloader.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Now you can update to latest twrp or whatever here too
Now either boot to recovery and use adb sideload to flash superuser or just reboot and then download to SD and flash in recovery later
All in all takes about 5min (not counting download time)
If you need more info on fastboot just check my threads for info
Best of luck!
