Default [Q] Broken MicroSD Card - Galaxy S3

Hey Everyone!
Went to listen to my music today and nothing was showing up. Opened ES file explorer and sure enough the card was not being recognized. I took it out put it in my computer that once did recognize and transfer files with the card and it also no longer recognizes it. I did some research and it seems this happens a LOT with Samsung Galaxy's and Note's. I did not have any important files, but I would like to somehow reformat the card so I am not out 40 bucks. Thanks so much!

Neither my phone or PC recognizes it. I even downloaded the SD card formatting program above (listed by buhohitr) and it wouldn't recognize it. That is my dilemma. How to format a non-recognizable card.

I believe it is corrupted to the point where it isn't recognizable but I feel as if there is some way to fix it. If not that is a true shame. Something Samsung REALLY needs to fix. I do not understand why my phone would destroy a SD card???

Wish I could have gotten that deal. Not exactly sure what to do. Really bummed a SD card just broke because of my phone. With Samsung's rep in phones and using a Samsung SD card this should not be a problem
