Hi all

I'm considering changing from Z to Z1. Xperia Z have some design flaws, The biggest one is heat issue. The heat itself is OK but it will continuously melt back glass glue little by little, then the phone will start to leak, so dust and water will get in. Is this problem fixed on Z1?

Another big design flaw on Z is headphone and charging port caps are easily worned out. Magnetic charger and cap free headphone jack would be good.

The only I find getting on my nerves is design flaw is the non scratch proof shatter resistance film on top of shatter resistant dragontrail glass on screen. I know this can be sorted out with a screen protector but I'm no pro when it comes to that and I always have bubbles some where on the screen

bull****! (with all do respect!)

glue of xperia Z melt by phone heat !?!?!
it is funny!
40-60 degree of C can melt just ice! not that powerful glue on xperia devices.
(however Cnet test it under HOT chocolate and nothing happened! and also a Japanese lady put it in hot water!)
one more thing;
for example that glue start melting when it warm up
but after that it becomes cool, from 60C to 30C and it means glue will return to their standard condition. cause glue are elastic!
i had Xperia Z for 8-9 months for heavy gaming and it means almost of time hot.
nothing happened.

anyway if u wanna buy new phone w8 for MWC and then decide wht to buy

Unfortunately, it really happens.

But you will never notice this flaw until you see dust in the camera or you put it in the water. You will see these issues on Z forum for sure.
