There are a couple threads that have work aroubds...The one I'm using replaces the stock launcher and one replaces the email app itswlf.
I'm not by a computer but I will try to find them for you

you could always uninstall it if you dont care for it. thats what i did. i prefer filpboard anyway

I froze it with titanium backup but crashes my launcher when pressing home when already home

Two threads that I saw that address was http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2475665 and the second one is http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2605806 The first one has a replacement file for the stock email and the second one has replacement mod for the stock launcher. I personally use the second one and have had no issues. Hope that helps.

Why don't you unfreeze it, then uncheck the box to have it open when pressing the home button and then freeze it again? Haven't tired this b/c I'm using nova launcher.
